Paseo a San Francisco. San Francisco's trip.

Hace dos semanas, el Ken fue a buscar a la Claudia a su trabajo en San Francisco. La Claudia habia trabajado horas extra los dias anteriores para asi poder irse de su trabajo a las 12 ese dia.

Two weeks ago, Ken went to pick up Claudia to her job in San Francisco. Claudia had worked extra hours the previous days to be able to leave at noon that day.

Fue super entretenido pasear por la ciudad.

It was really fun to hang out in the city.

Tomamos un bus que se iba directo por el pueblo chino (China Town) hasta el Pier 39 (un muelle super popular que hay en la ciudad).

We took a bus that goes through China town to Pier 39.

Como ya era la hora de almuerzo y nosotros teniamos mucha hambre, almorzamos en uno de los puestos que estan a lo largo de la calle que estan en frente del muelle.

It was lunch time when we got there and we were hungry so we ate at one of the stands that are all along the street near to the pier.




Tomamos crema de langosta, la cual se sirve en un bol hecho de pan. Estaba super rica y por supuesto, despues de terminar la crema, nos comimos el bol.

we had lobster bisk in a bread bol. It was tasty and of course after we finished we ate the bol.


Junto con nosotros, habia mucha gente que estaba tomando sopas en bol en la calle. El olor a mariscos y pescados de la comida atraia a las gabiotas, las cuales caminaban por la calle como si fueran peatones.

There was a lot of people that were eating in the same street than us. The seafood and fish smell of the food was attracting seagouls which were walking in the street as if they were pedestrians.


Despues de eso nos fuimos a caminar por el pier, visitamos algunas tiendas y descanzamos.

After that we walk towards the pier, we visited some stores and rest for a while.





Despues fuimos a comprar un poleron de San Francisco a la Claudia.

Then we went to buy a SF jacket for Claudia.

Tambien se nos ocurio que seria buena idea ir a tomar helado a la plaza de Guirardelli (Guirardelli Square). Este es un lugar super conocido por sus helados y chocolates y siempre hay harta gente ahi.

At that point we thought it would be a good idea to go to have an ice to Guirardelli Square. This a well known place because of it icecream and chocolates.

Antes de ir a tomar el helado, nos sentamos en un plaza que esta al frente de Guirardelli. Desde ahi era posible apreciar el muelle, Alcatraz y el puente de Golden Gate (Golden Gate bridge). Estabamos relajandonos cuando el Ken le dice a la Claudia que habia un raton muy cerca de la banca donde estabamos sentados. La Claudia saco su camara para tomarle una foto, porque era el raton mas gorde que ella habia visto. El raton estaba tratando de subir una pequena pared de como 30 centimetros para esconderse en un jardin de la plaza. Mientras la Claudia trataba de tomarle una foto desde el mejor angulo, el raton se asustaba mucho y en su intento de escapar, se caia de la pared cada vez. Finalmente el raton encontro un mejos lugar para ocultarse de nosotros y de las gaviotas que andaban por ahi. Despues nos dimos cuenta que tal vez el raton era una ratona que estaba embarazada y que por esa razon andaba buscando un refugio para que nacieran sus ratoncitos.

Before going to have icecream we sat in a park in front of Guirardelli from there was posible to look at the sea, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate. We were relaxing there when Ken said to Claudia that there was a mouse close to the bench where we were seated. Claudia took the camara to take it a picture because it was the fatest mouse that she have ever seen. The mouse was trying to climb a little wall of about 30 centimeters to hide itself in a garden. While Claudia was moving trying to take a picture from the best angle, the mouse got scare because it felt threaten and that made it fail several times in it attempt to climb the wall. Finally the mouse found a better place to hide itself from us and from the seagouls. At the end we realized that maybe the mouse was a mommy trying to find a place to give birth.



Despues de la aventura con la ratona empezo a llover. Sacamos nuestros paraguas y nos quedamos por un rato sentados en la banca de la plaza, observando la hermosa vista que habia ahi. Despues decidimos que ya era hora de ir a un lugar mas seco, asi que cruzamos la calle y nos fuimos a Guirardelli. Nos tomamos un helado de vainilla con crema, salsa de chocolate, brownie (queque de chocolate caliente con chocalete derretido).

After the adventure with the mouse stared raining. We took one of our umbrellas and we stayed seated in the bench looking at the beautiful view. Then we decided it was to find a dryer place to stay, so we cross the street and went to Guirardelli. We had a vanilla and brownie sundae.

Despues de eso, la Claudia vio una tienda donde vendian esos cuadros de vidrio pintado que a ella le gustan y se compro uno.

After that Claudia went to store that sells stain glasses and she bought one.

Ya eran como las 5 de la tarde y nosotros estabamos cansados, asi que decidimos regresar a la estacion de tren. Ahi compramos unas galletas y nos subimos al tren de vuelta.

At that point it was about 5 pm. and we were tired, so we decided to head back to the train station. Once there we bought some cookies and took the train back to Palo Alto.
