Fin de clase, principio de navidad. End of class, beginning of Christmas

En las últimas dos semanas ha habido algunas novedades. Las clases de Ken están terminando y tiene sus examenes la próxima semana. La navidad viene pronto y hemos empezado a decorar. Compramos un arbol de navidad falsa(plastica) y lo pusimos en el living. Faltan algunas cositas para el arbol y vamos a ponerlas después.

In the last two weeks there has been some interesting things. Ken's classes are finishing and he has his exams next week. Christmas is coming soon and we have begun to decorate. We bought a fake tree and we put it in the living room. There's some things missing from the tree but soon we will put them on it.



Abajo del arbol también hay nuestros amigos. Pusimos todos los peluches para celebren con nostros también.

Under the tree we have all of our friends. We put all of the stuffed animals there to celebrate with us as well.



En estas semanas también hemos hecho varias cosas sociales. Invitamos a nuestros vecinos a tomar traigos con nosotros la semana pasada. Fuimos al centro de estudiantes internacionales para una fiesta de salsa. Tambíen, hubo actividades del fin del año en el campus. Hubo una fiesta del departamento aeroespacial con harta comida y copete. Anoche fuimos a un evento del edificio. Fue de vino, queso, y postre. Comimos mucho y hablamos con muchos de nuestros vecinos. Una pareja nos invitó a cenar en su casa la proxima semana y vamos a ir.

In the last two weeks, we have also done a lot of social things. We invited our neighbors over for drinks last week. We went to the international student center for a salsa party. Also, there were year end activities on campus. There was a part for the aerospace department with a lot of food and drinks. Last night, we went to a building event. It was a wine, cheese, and desert night. We ate a ton and talked with a lot of our neighbors. One couple invited us over to eat dinner at their house next week and we're going to go.


El tiempo acá también a cambiado y ahora es invierno. Es parecido al invierno a Chile y no hace tanto frio como en Connecticut o Cleveland.

The weather here has also changed and now it is definitely winter. It's similar to winter in Chile and is not nearly as cold as it is in Connecticut or Cleveland.
