Graduación de Claudia. Claudia's Graduation.

Llegó el día esperado de nuestro viaje. La graduación de la Claudia de la Universidad de Chile. Fuimos temprano en la mañana para la ceremonia. La ceremonia occurió en la facultad de economia de la Universidad de Chile en vez de la casa central porque los estudiantes la habían tomado para apoyar a los escolares. Fue más bonito porque la sala de la facultad es bien bonita y la ceremonia fue intima. Solo los estudiantes de dos carreras se graduaron juntos, por eso, fueron aproximademente 50 egresados en la ceremonia. Solo salió una foto buena porque no hubo mucha luz. Después escanearémos las fotos oficials y las pondriamos en el blog.

The special day of our visit arrived. Claudia's graduation from the University of Chile. We went early in the morning for the ceremony. The ceremony took place on the economics campus of the University of Chile instead of the traditional downtown campus because the students had taken over the building to offer support to the high school students who were protesting. It was a beautiful ceremony because the auditorium of the economics school is elegant and intimate. Only the students from two majors graduated together so it was approximately 50 graduates. Only one picture came out good because there wasn't a lot of light. Later we will scan the official photographs and upload them to the blog.


Después de la ceremonia vino la mejor parte, el cocktail. No hay mucho que contar aparte de que comimos harto y los tragos estaban fuertes.

After the ceremony came the best part, the cocktail. There isn't much to tell besides that fact that we ate a lot and the drinks were strong.
