San Francisco

Llegamos bien a San Francisco y la Claudia debería estar tomando la primera parte de su examen ahora. Fuimos ayer por tren(Caltrain) temprano como a las 4. Llegamos a la estación y fuimos al hotel. De ahí vimos que había en el barrio. Donde están el consulado y el hotel es un barrio de tiendas y restaurantes. Así que la Claudia debería estar bien. Fuimos a comer un restaurante que quedaba cerca. La comida de la Claudia fue espectacular y la comida del Ken no fue tan buena. Después de revisar otros lugares donde comer o tomar un cafecito, volvimos al hotel a descansar. El plan original para el Ken fue volver a Stanford esa noche. El volvió hoy día en la mañana. Así la Claudia estaba mucho más tranquila y llegó bien a la primera parte del examén.

We arrived well in San Francisco and Claudia should be taking the first part of her exam right now. We went yesterday by train(the Caltrain) early at about around 4. We arrived at the station and went to the hotel right away. From there we explored the neighborhood a little to see where everything was. The neighborhood of the consulate and the hotel is full of shops and restaurants so Claudia should be fine. We ate in a restaurant that was close by. Claudia's food was spectacular and Ken's food wasn't so great. After checking out the other places to eat or have a coffee, we returned to the hotel to rest. The original plan was for Ken to return to Stanford that night. He returned today in the morning instead. Because of that, Claudia was much more calm and arrived well to the first part of her exam.

No alcanzamos a sacar muchas fotos porque tuvimos mucho que hacer y no fue un viaje de paseo. Vamos a volver pronto por un día porque el tren se demora una hora en llegar y es super barato. Vale la pena ir a San Francisco para hacer compras en un fin de semana. El Ken sacó algunas fotos en la mañana en el camino a la estación de trenes. San Francisco casi siempre está nublado.

We didn't have the chance to take many pictures because we had a lot to do and it wasn't a trip for pleasure. We are going to return soon because the train only takes an hour to arrive and is really cheap. It's worth going to San Francisco to shop or eat on the weekend. Ken took some pictures in the morning on his way back. San Francisco is foggy a lot.
