El Regreso de la Claudia. Claudia's Return

La Claudia volvió en la tarde hoy día por tren de San Francisco. Tuvo los examenes de recursos humanos y finanzas hoy día. Fue muy díficil y esperamos que le haya ido bien. Llegó en la tarde y hicimos un asado para celebrar y relajarnos.

Claudia returned today in the afternoon by train from San Francisco. She had her exams for human resources and finances today. They were very difficult and we hope that she did well. She arrived in the afternoon and we had a barbeque to celebrate and relax.

Hicimos el asado afuera del departamento en un lugar con arboles. Tienen parillas afuera y mesas tambíen. Queda supercerca del departamento que se ve en las fotos tambíen.

We had the barbeque outside of our apartment in a small wooded area. They have grills and tables outside for anyone to use. It's really close to the apartment as you can see in the picture.




La primera cosa que tuvimos que hacer fue prender el carbón para cocinar la carne.

The first thing we had to do was to light the charcoal to cook the meat.


Como siempre, el carbón se demora en estar lista y el Ken vigilaba el fuego. La Claudia por mientras hizo las ensaladas. Comimos papas mayos, choclo, asparago, carne, tomates con cebolla y ajo, y palta. Obviamente tomamos un buen vino para celebrar.

As always, the charcoal took a while to be ready and Ken watched the fire. Meanwhile, Claudia made all of the side dishes. We ate potatoe salad(really potatoes with mayonaise), corn, asparagus, steak, tomatoes with onions and garlic, and avocado. Obviously, we had a good wine to celebrate.




Ustedes pueden ver mejor la comida que nosotros pudimos. Cuando todo estaba listo ya estaba oscuro afuera. Mucha gente pasó por donde estabamos y nos miraba como si fueramos locos. Pero también parece que les gustaba la idea. Los estudiantes aquí a veces no se aprovechan de las cosas que están aquí para usar.

You can see the food better than we could. When everything was ready, it was already dark outside. Many people passed by us and looked at us like we were crazy. But also, it looked like they liked the idea. The students here sometimes do not take advantage of all of the stuff there is to use here.
